Deck overview

This deck is a Jeskai spellslinger strategy led by Shiko and Narset, Unified. It leverages the flurry mechanic to generate card advantage or double targeted spells whenever you cast your second spell each turn. Supported by cost reducers and mana engines like Storm-Kiln Artist, the deck rapidly cycles through its library using low-cost cantrips. It translates spell casts into wide token armies with Monastery Mentor, Young Pyromancer, and Third Path Iconoclast, while pumping the board and untapping creatures via Jeskai Ascendancy. Alternatively, it burns down the table using group-slug engines like Guttersnipe and Fiery Inscription. The interaction suite is dense, versatile, and doubles in effectiveness when timed with the commander's flurry trigger.
