marchesa by Omaui

Format: Commander

Commander: Queen Marchesa

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Queen Marchesa is a Mardu monarchy deck: the hidden commander is the crown itself. Plan A is to become monarch early and stay there, using Court of Grace, Skyline Despot, and Marchesa's assassin tokens to build an evasive board while Ghostly Prison, Nils, and goad effects deflect attacks. Plan B is a Sunforger control package that finds Boros Charm, Deflecting Palm, or Arcbond at instant speed. Gisela, Blade of Goldnight doubles all damage, turning a modest flyer swarm into lethal swings. The deck has no fast infinite combo; it wins incrementally through card advantage and combat math, with Court of Embereth and Inkshield as alternate burst plays.
