Deck overview

Ratonhnhake ton is a WUB voltron deck built around the commander's built-in hexproof and unblockable shield. The primary plan is to deploy Ratonhnhake early, suit it with power and double-strike equipment, and close with a single commander-damage strike, using its damage trigger to recur dead Equipment onto Assassin tokens. Ramses, Assassin Lord converts any opponent loss from an Assassin attack into an immediate game win. Secondary paths use Stonehewer Giant, Arna Kennerud, Skycaptain, and Armored Skyhunter as alternate carriers and equipment tutors. The deck runs heavy protection and counterspells to keep the voltron line alive, with Forge Anew, Emry, and Sevinne's Reclamation providing redundancy. The 99 is highly artifact-dense, making artifact hate the most dangerous countermeasure.
