Deck overview

Thorin, King of Durin's Folk commands a Boros Dwarf typal aggro deck that converts creature deployment into artifact tokens, transforming wide boards into lethal combat swings. The strategy establishes early board presence with efficient low-drop Dwarves and ramp artifacts before casting Thorin on Turn 4–5. Once Thorin enters, every subsequent Dwarf ETB creates a Treasure token, scaling an asymmetric static power boost across the entire Dwarf army. The deck transitions into critical onset around Turn 6, threatening massive combat damage amplified by token multipliers like Academy Manufactor, anthems like Shared Animosity, and evasion spells like Akroma's Will and Taunt from the Rampart. While the deck operates primarily at combat speed across multiple response cycles, it compensates for board-wipe vulnerability with premier protection spells such as Clever Concealment, Flare of Fortitude, and Boros Charm. With strong redundancy and backup anthems like Kindred Charge, the deck presents a relentless, treasure-fueled aggressive assault.
