Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Grixis combo-control list led by Doctor Doom, King of Latveria. It leverages early mana acceleration and efficient card filtering to control the board before resolving a lethal Doomsday sequence. The commander provides early board pressure and steady card churn through connive triggers that burn opponents whenever lands are discarded. Once resources align around Turn 4, the deck casts Doomsday and builds a compact pile centered on Doctor Doom, Unrivaled. By cracking the pile with free cantrips such as Gush and Gitaxian Probe, the deck empties its library, grants Doctor Doom, Unrivaled haste with Crimson Wisps, and activates its ability to instantly win the game in the same turn. A secondary infinite loop utilizing Ashnod's Altar, Nim Deathmantle, and Doctor Doom provides a robust alternative win condition. Strong defensive countermagic and free removal ensure the combo resolves securely.
