Deck overview

This mono-white deck combines aggressive Soldier tribal token production with asymmetric stax and protection pieces. Helmed by Myrel, Shield of Argive, the strategy establishes early board control through tax and denial creatures such as Drannith Magistrate, Deafening Silence, and Thalia, Heretic Cathar. Once Myrel enters the battlefield, her static ability completely silences opponents during your turn, shutting down instant-speed interaction, counterspells, and activated abilities. When Myrel attacks, she exponentially multiplies your Soldier army by creating 1/1 Soldier artifact creature tokens equal to the number of Soldiers you control. Anthems and multipliers such as Coat of Arms, Cathars' Crusade, Banner of Kinship, and Anointed Procession rapidly convert wide boards into lethal combat steps. A dense suite of free and low-cost protection spells, including Flawless Maneuver and Flare of Fortitude, shields your creatures from sweepers during opposing turns. The deck reliably builds overwhelming combat pressure by Turn 5 and eliminates the table by Turn 7.
