Thorin by masi

Format: Commander

Commander: Thorin, King of Durin's Folk

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Boros Dwarf tribal deck builds a wide board of Dwarves and artifact tokens, then wins through combat. Thorin, King of Durin's Folk drives the plan by creating a Treasure for each Dwarf that enters and giving all other Dwarves +1/+0 for each artifact token you control. Equipment like The Reaver Cleaver and Bearded Axe, plus anthems such as Shared Animosity and Bruenor Battlehammer, turn that board into lethal attackers. Sagas that make 6/6 Dragons and Magda, Brazen Outlaw tutoring for artifacts or Dragons provide secondary finishes. Magda acts as a hidden commander, generating Treasures and tutoring when Thorin is unavailable.
