Commander: Smaug the Impenetrable

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Rakdos Dragon deck built around Smaug the Impenetrable as a self-damage treasure battery. The commander's indestructible and haste traits let red damage spells hit it without losing it, turning one cheap burn spell into a large treasure surplus. Those treasures then fuel artifact drainers, upkeep win conditions, and an alternate dragon beatdown plan. The deck is not a single infinite combo deck; it pressures with dragon attack triggers and layer effects that turn treasure generation into table-wide damage.
