Xenagos by jtchristie

Format: Commander

Commander: La Madre Tierra

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Gruul stompy deck helmed by Xenagos, God of Revels, built to accelerate into massive creatures and then double their power and grant haste for explosive combat steps. The primary plan is to deploy mana dorks and land ramp early, cast Xenagos on turn 4-5, then follow up with a high-impact threat like Malignus, Pathbreaker Ibex, or Klauth, Unrivaled Ancient that can end games quickly. The deck supplements this with cheat effects like Sneak Attack and Ilharg, the Raze-Boar, a dense tutor suite to find key creatures, and a handful of one-shot pump spells to close out multiple opponents. There is no infinite combo; the win condition is pure combat damage, often via a single oversized creature or a trampling swarm.
