bard is hard 4.0 by Nevetsnehc

Format: Commander

Commander: Bard, King of Dale

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Bard, King of Dale is the engine of this Azorius token/value deck; his replacement effect doubles virtually every draw and every token event. The primary plan is to land a token producer such as Adeline, Hero of Bladehold, or Myrel, cast Bard, then use Secure the Wastes or incidental tokens to reach fifteen creatures and activate Halo Fountain for the win. Secondary routes are a mass-anthem swing with Akroma's Will or Moonshaker Cavalry, or a long-game draw engine with Caretaker's Talent, Rhystic Study, and Smuggler's Share. The deck has no hidden commander, and it runs a control shell plus free protection to resolve the decisive turn.
