Commander: K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This mono-black K'rrik deck turns life into mana to power a drain and storm engine. K'rrik lets you pay life instead of black mana and grows whenever you cast black spells, enabling explosive early plays. The main plan uses Bolas's Citadel, Necropotence, and Vilis to draw through the deck and assemble Exquisite Blood with Sanguine Bond or Vito, with Aetherflux Reservoir providing repeatable life gain to loop opponents to zero. Gray Merchant devotion and big-mana Torment of Hailfire or Exsanguinate offer secondary kills. Bolas's Citadel functions as a hidden commander, letting you play from the top of the library for life and sustain the engine without K'rrik.
