Deck overview

This Golgari Aristocrats deck helmed by Dina, Essence Brewer focuses on generating incremental resource advantages through recurring creature fodder, free sacrifice outlets, and persistent life drain. The deck deploys early enablers such as Viscera Seer, Jadar, Ghoulcaller of Nephalia, and Bloodghast, utilizing Dina's ability to draw cards on each player's turn whenever creatures are sacrificed. Mid-game turns scale board presence and life totals through potent token producers like Awakening Zone, Blight Mound, and Beledros Witherbloom, supported by asymmetric sweepers like Culling Ritual. The deck transitions into a lethal clock around Turn 6 by stacking drain payoffs such as Bastion of Remembrance, Blood Artist, and Mirkwood Bats, or buffing the board with Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest. Reliable closure is reached by Turn 8 through accumulated aristocrat attrition or compact two-card combos including Basking Broodscale with Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest and Dina, Soul Steeper with Exquisite Blood.
