Deck overview

This is a Selesnya token-and-lifegain deck helmed by Trostani, Selesnya's Voice. The core strategy is to generate a wide board of creature tokens, gain life from creature ETBs and other triggers, then leverage that life total to fuel powerful payoffs such as Aetherflux Reservoir, Storm Herd, or Halo Fountain. The commander provides repeatable populate to double up on valuable tokens, while the large life pool also enables Soul of Eternity and Nykthos Paragon to turn the board into an overwhelming force. The deck wins primarily through combat damage from a massive token army, with the alternate win condition of Halo Fountain and the direct damage from Aetherflux Reservoir as backup. It is a midrange value deck that aims to grind out incremental advantage and eventually overwhelm opponents with an unstoppable board presence.
