dragons hoard by gimmegimmegimme823

Format: Commander

Commander: Smaug the Impenetrable

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Rakdos Treasures/Dragons deck built around Smaug the Impenetrable's noncombat-damage trigger. Primary plan is to resolve Smaug, then point cheap burn at him to generate Treasures and convert those tokens into table-wide drain with Mirkwood Bats, Reckless Fireweaver, Ingenious Artillerist, and Mayhem Devil. Smaug the Magnificent acts as a hidden commander-style second drake, turning Treasure count into direct damage while adding an upkeep Treasure. Secondary paths: Magda tutors Hellkite Tyrant or Dawnsire, the sagas make dragon tokens and buried Treasures, and Revel in Riches, Crackle with Power, or an Alchemist's Talent burn turn close. The indestructible, hasty 8/7 can also race one player for commander damage, but the primary kill is token-sacrifice/drain.
