The REDDEST one by Crew

Format: Commander

Commander: Tannuk, Steadfast Second

Bracket: 3

DeckCheck Threat Index: 30

Deck overview

This deck is a mono-red aggressive stompy strategy helmed by Tannuk, Steadfast Second. Tannuk acts as a central cost-cheating engine and haste enabler, giving every red creature and artifact in hand warp {2}{R}. By accelerating into Tannuk by Turn 3 or 4, the deck circumvents the steep mana costs of premier dragons and battlecruiser threats like Drakuseth, Maw of Flames, Balefire Dragon, Etali, Primal Storm, and Cavern-Hoard Dragon. These threats enter, attack immediately to trigger devastating combat abilities, and exile at end step to be hardcast later from exile if needed. Damage multipliers such as Fiery Emancipation and extra combat steps from Karlach, Fury of Avernus accelerate the clock, allowing the deck to eliminate all three opponents by Turn 7. While explosive and mana-efficient, the deck relies heavily on Tannuk remaining on the battlefield and carries minimal defensive shielding against targeted removal and enchantment-based threats.
