Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov legendary-tribal midrange strategy commanded by Ardbert, Warrior of Darkness. It curves out with low-cost legendary creatures, turning every subsequent white or black spell into team-wide +1/+1 counters, vigilance, and menace. The deck leverages powerful asymmetric cards like Urza's Ruinous Blast and One Ring to Rule Them All that devastate nonlegendary boards while leaving its own army intact. Card advantage engines such as Venat, Heart of Hydaelyn, Mangara, the Diplomat, and The Seriema maintain hand size and board presence. For defense, free protection spells like Flawless Maneuver and Flare of Fortitude shield the board against sweepers. The deck wins by attacking with large, evasive legendary creatures and finishing games with mass reanimation via Primevals' Glorious Rebirth or aristocrat drain.
