Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Naya midrange shell built around Tifa, Martial Artist and the power 7 or greater combat mechanic. The strategy aims to ramp in the opening turns, deploy Tifa on Turn 4, and use equipment, +1/+1 counters, or Melee bonuses on Turn 5 to elevate a creature's power to 7 or higher. When that creature deals combat damage during the first combat phase, Tifa untaps all attacking creatures and grants an immediate additional combat phase. This doubling of combat output accelerates damage clocks and rapidly pressures opposing life totals. High-end threats such as Inferno Titan, Cragplate Baloth, and Terastodon, alongside Unnatural Growth, provide robust standalone pressure if the commander is removed. However, the deck carries noticeable structural vulnerabilities: it runs minimal instant-speed interaction and virtually no stack or board-wipe protection, making it reliant on unanswered combat steps and natural card draw to close games.
