Deck overview

This Rakdos Dragon deck is helmed by Ganax, Astral Hunter paired with the Agent of the Shadow Thieves Background. The primary strategy utilizes low-cost mana rocks, Dragon cost-reducers, and Ganax's entry trigger to build rapid mana velocity via Treasure tokens. Once Ganax establishes the mana engine on Turn 4, the deck deploys high-impact Dragon threats on Turn 5 that overwhelm opponents through aerial combat, direct damage triggers, and explosive token generation. The deck also features a compact two-card infinite combo between Ganax, Astral Hunter and Draconic Visitor, which replaces Treasure creation with 5/5 flying Dragon tokens to loop infinitely and win instantly alongside ETB burn engines like Terror of the Peaks, Scourge of Valkas, or Dragon Tempest. Backed by premium black tutors, asymmetric board wipes like Crux of Fate, and resilient card advantage engines such as The One Ring and Bonehoard Dracosaur, the deck reliably closes games on Turn 6.
