Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Gruul Stompy list built around Kibo, Uktabi Prince. The primary strategy revolves around handing out Banana tokens to opponents, then punishing them by destroying their artifacts or capitalizing on their sacrifice triggers to put +1/+1 counters on your team of Apes and Monkeys. The deck scales up power rapidly using counter doublers like Branching Evolution and Hardened Scales, converting that raw size into table-ending damage using trample enablers like Garruk's Uprising and extra-combat spells like Relentless Assault and Karlach, Fury of Avernus. Synergies like Liquimetal Coating paired with Gorilla Shaman turn opponent lands into 0-cost artifacts for repeated single-mana destruction. While the deck boasts heavy artifact removal and powerful combat scaling, it lacks creature tutors and instant-speed stack interaction, leaving it vulnerable to board wipes.
