Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity mono-blue engine commanded by Vnwxt, Verbose Host. The strategy uses a suite of cheap, unblockable creatures such as Slither Blade and Mist-Cloaked Herald to deal combat damage each turn, quickly accelerating the player's speed counter to Max Speed by Turn 4. Once Max Speed is reached, Vnwxt's static ability doubles every card draw while eliminating maximum hand size restrictions. The deck converts this massive card advantage into decisive wins via Twenty-Toed Toad's 20-card hand trigger, life-loss drain from Psychosis Crawler, or token swarms from Ominous Seas and Alandra, Sky Dreamer. With an abundance of cards in hand, the deck reliably fuels alternate-cost counterspells like Foil, Flare of Denial, and Commandeer to protect its board and secure a Turn 6 victory.
