Deck overview

This Selesnya deck leverages Lathiel, the Bounteous Dawn to convert rapid lifegain into an overwhelming army of massive creatures. The primary game plan curves out with efficient low-cost lifegain enablers like Soul Warden, Guide of Souls, and Healer's Hawk, establishing consistent triggers before Lathiel arrives on Turn 3 or 4. Once Lathiel is active, every point of life gained turns into +1/+1 counters distributed across your attackers at each end step. Because lifelink creatures deal damage that gains life, the engine compounds exponentially each combat step. Evasion and trample enablers such as Duskshell Crawler, Pridemalkin, and Blossoming Bogbeast ensure that tall attackers push lethal damage through opposing blockers. In addition to combat pressure, the deck includes a compact infinite combo with Heliod, Sun-Crowned and Walking Ballista to bypass stalled boards. Resilient protection spells like Flawless Maneuver and Grand Abolisher keep the board safe from opposing disruption.
