Helga by SuperXCX

Format: Commander

Commander: Helga, Skittish Seer

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Helga, Skittish Seer is a Bant creature-storm deck that converts every 4+ mana creature and X hydra into draw, life, and +1/+1 counters on Helga, then taps Helga for X mana restricted to further big creatures. Primary plan is to grow Helga to 3-6 power and chain value creatures into infinite blink and untap combos. Secondary paths are +1/+1 counter doubling with Hardened Scales, Branching Evolution, Doubling Season and Innkeeper's Talent, and trampling beatdown with Goreclaw and Surrak and Goreclaw. Helga is both draw engine and ritual. Hidden commander is Emiel the Blessed, which anchors two combo families and provides repeatable blink value when Helga is pressured.
