Format: Commander

Commander: Myrel, Shield of Argive

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This mono-white Soldier deck is built around Myrel, Shield of Argive's attack-trigger token snowball. It develops a board of small Soldiers, uses Myrel (or Preeminent Captain to cheat her in tapped and attacking) to multiply the Soldier count each combat, and then converts that wide board into lethal damage with token multipliers, anthems, Akroma's Will, or Finale of Glory. Myrel's silence effect makes the attack step one-sided, while Thalia, Baird, and Boromir tax the opponents' turns. The deck has no infinite combo; it wins through sustained token growth and combat, with protection and recursion to survive board wipes. It can function without the commander, but much faster with her on the battlefield.
