Flashes of Greatness by Irwynn

Format: Commander

Commander: Rionya, Fire Dancer

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a mono-red storm-adjacent combo deck helmed by Rionya, Fire Dancer, built to chain cheap instants and sorceries into a critical mass of token copies. The core plan is to cast a high-impact creature - most often Terror of the Peaks or Port Razer - then use Rionya's attack trigger to create a swarm of hasty copies that either burn the table out via ETB triggers or chain extra combat steps into a lethal swing. The deck leans heavily on rituals (Seething Song, Pyretic Ritual, Desperate Ritual) and cantrips (Faithless Looting, Thrill of Possibility) to build storm count and fuel the engine. Secondary lines include Guttersnipe and Impact Tremors as passive burn, and Fanatic of Mogis for devotion-based damage. The deck is explosive but fragile, with a thin tutor suite and minimal protection for its commander.
