Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Mono-Green Stompy deck commanded by Ghalta, Primal Hunger. The primary game plan focuses on deploying hyper-efficient, high-power creatures early—such as Pugnacious Hammerskull, Steel Leaf Champion, and Rhonas the Indomitable—to rapidly discount Ghalta to its minimum cost of {G}{G}. Once Ghalta enters on Turn 4, the deck converts its massive 12/12 trampling body into explosive card draw through spells like Greater Good, Return of the Wildspeaker, and Rishkar's Expertise. Lethal damage is delivered over the following two turn cycles through trample enablers and doubling effects such as Overwhelming Stampede, Unnatural Growth, and The Skullspore Nexus. The deck protects its key investments using efficient 1-mana protection spells like Veil of Summer and Tamiyo's Safekeeping, while utilizing Force of Vigor and Collector Ouphe to hinder opposing artifact and enchantment engines.
