Deck overview

Lathril is an Elf-tribal deck that combines a wide token board with an instant-speed infinite-mana package. Its primary plan is to drop one-mana dorks, cast Lathril early, attack to create Elf tokens, then finish through either a huge Finale of Devastation/Craterhoof swing or repeat Lathril activations. The secondary plan is the Staff of Domination + Umbral Mantle combo on any elf that taps for four or more mana, turning a tutor into a kill. There is no hidden commander; the growing-rites-to-Itlimoc line is a value engine rather than a second general. Lathril accelerates tokens and drains, but the combo does not require her, so the deck is resilient to commander removal. It plays 34 lands, seven tutors, and a large elf-lord package.
