Red Damage Deck by Raknul

Format: Commander

Commander: Old Hob, Alleycat Blues

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This Boros token-aggro deck is helmed by Old Hob, Alleycat Blues, who generates a temporary 2/2 Mutant token each combat and can grant it indestructible. The strategy revolves around building a wide board of tokens and modified creatures, leveraging combat tricks, +1/+1 counters, and historic synergies to push incremental damage. Key payoffs include Aya of Alexandria for additional token generation, Arana, Heart of the Spider for card advantage, and Raph & Leo, Sibling Rivals for an extra combat step. The deck lacks explosive combos or fast mana, aiming instead to grind out opponents through repeated attacks and value plays.
