Deck overview

This Dimir partner deck pairs Armix, Filigree Thrasher and Glacian, Powerstone Engineer into a dedicated artifact midrange and control strategy. The deck accelerates its mana curve through low-cost artifact mana rocks, cost reducers like Etherium Sculptor, and larger power stones such as Thran Dynamo and Gilded Lotus. In the early game, Armix provides repeatable targeted removal by attacking and discarding artifacts into the graveyard, which both controls opposing creature boards and fuels graveyard recursion via Emry, Lurker of the Loch and Academy Ruins. In the mid-to-late game, Glacian digs deep into the library by tapping accumulated artifacts to find high-impact win conditions. The deck closes games through powerful asymmetric haymakers, notably Tezzeret, Master of the Bridge draining the table and casting massive threats for free, combat damage from large artifact creatures like Wurmcoil Engine and Kozilek, the Broken Reality, or a hard lockout via Karn, the Great Creator and Mycosynth Lattice.
