K'rrik by user4750674

Format: Commander

Commander: K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

K'rrik turns life into black mana, so the deck aims to land him early with Sol Ring and mana rocks, then chain lifelink and drain spells such as Gray Merchant, Exsanguinate, and extort to stay healthy while casting above curve. The main finish is a large Exsanguinate or an Army of the Damned zombie swarm; Baron Helmut Zemo acts as a hidden commander, copying high-symbol black spells from the graveyard after attacking. Recursion from Veinwitch Coven and Cadaver Imp and mass reanimation through Afterlife from the Loam provide a secondary grind path. Ardyn, the Usurper also copies key creatures from graveyards to pressure and drain.
