Consequences of Fishing by user1746488

Format: Commander

Commander: Kiora, Sovereign of the Deep

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Kiora, Sovereign of the Deep is the sole, single-faced commander and the deck's engine. There is no hidden or double-faced commander. The primary plan is to ramp to 7+ mana, cast a big Kraken/Leviathan/Serpent, then use Kiora's trigger to free-cast a second or third sea creature. Secondary paths include token generation through Spawning Kraken and Koma, plus unblockable attacks via Serpent of Yawning Depths. The deck wins through overwhelming combat damage rather than combo. Aesi functions as a strong secondary engine, and Hullbreaker Horror is used as flash interaction, not as a reliable infinite-mana combo.
