Deck overview

This mono-red spellslinger and superfriends deck focuses on Tomik, Izzet Sparkmage, which adds +1 to all noncombat damage dealt to opponents and their permanents. By pairing Tomik with cheap pingers such as Firebrand Archer, Kessig Flamebreather, and Coruscation Mage, every noncreature spell deals double its normal passive output to each opponent. The deck incorporates a Chandra planeswalker package that supplies incremental mana, impulse card selection, and direct burn. High-end damage multipliers like Fiery Emancipation and Dictate of the Twin Gods drastically accelerate the damage clock, converting minor spell casts into lethal table-wide bursts. The strategy is straightforward and aggressive, though its reliance on fragile low-toughness creatures and limited stack protection makes it susceptible to sweepers and fast combo decks.
