Lightning by tsantosa

Format: Commander

Commander: Lightning, Army of One

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is an aggressive Boros burn deck built around Lightning, Army of One's Stagger ability. The primary plan is to get one combat-damage trigger and then turn every burn spell and hasty attacker into a doubled, or eventually quadrupled, source of damage aimed at a single opponent. Secondary paths include a beatdown curve of hasty Lightning creatures, a small recurring phoenix suite, and a one-shot extra-combat package with Lightning Runner. The commander is a force multiplier rather than a standalone engine: the deck can still function if he is absent, but the clock becomes much slower. No infinite combo is present.
