Deck overview

This is an Izzet big-spell deck helmed by Tellah, Great Sage. Tellah turns every noncreature spell into a 1/1 Hero, converts any spell you spent four or more mana on into two cards, and can sacrifice himself to convert an eight-plus-mana spell into that much damage to each opponent. The 99 is built to feed those clauses: a heavy rock-and-ritual mana base, a cluster of X-payloads (Crackle with Power, Comet Storm, Banefire, Jaya's Immolating Inferno, Fireball, Electrodominance), and two damage triplers in Fiery Emancipation and City on Fire. Magecraft engines (Archmage Emeritus, Storm-Kiln Artist, Veyran, Voice of Duality, Harmonic Prodigy) and copy payoffs (Thousand-Year Storm, Ral, Crackling Wit) supply the value engine. There are no compact infinite combos; wins come from a lethal X-spell or a multiplied Tellah trigger after a large mana turn. Tellah is the primary repeatable draw trigger, but the burn suite still functions if he is absent.
