Toast Malone by user6223595

Format: Commander

Commander: K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth turns black pips into life payments, letting this mono-black deck accelerate into expensive spells, Bolas's Citadel, and a reanimation package. The primary plan is to cast K'rrik early, use his lifelink to keep the life payments sustainable, then win through either commander damage on an oversized K'rrik or evasive demons (Valgavoth, Lord of the Pit, Sheoldred, Junji). Secondary paths are reanimation (Entomb, Reanimate, Funeral Room) and death-based drain (Blood Artist, Funeral Room, Dark Suspicions). Grievous Wound turns any hit into a near-lethal swing. The commander is both a cost reducer and a finisher. There is no double-faced commander or dedicated hidden commander; Gwenom is the closest supporting card to a second copy.
