Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov political aggro and combat-control deck commanded by Breena, the Demagogue. The primary strategy accelerates into an early Breena, leveraging political card-draw incentives to entice opponents into attacking one another while rapidly growing Breena with +1/+1 counters. By Turn 4 to 5, the deck establishes a commanding board state, threatening lethal commander damage with the aid of double strike from Duelist's Heritage and evasive token swarms from Combat Calligrapher and Felisa, Fang of Silverquill. Defensive deterrents like Ghostly Prison, Orzhov Advokist, and Nils, Discipline Enforcer discourage opponents from retaliating, while potent combat blowouts such as Inkshield punish overextensions. The deck features a robust reactive removal suite to eliminate key opposing pieces and an elite tier of protective spells including Clever Concealment and Flawless Maneuver to preserve its board against sweeps.
