Deck overview

This Abzan deck is led by Bilbo, Birthday Celebrant, focusing on rapid life total escalation, Food token generation, and abrupt alternate win conditions. By combining low-curve mana dorks, artifact token generators like Tireless Provisioner and Peregrin Took, and lifegain multipliers, the deck easily keeps its life total well above the starting 40 life mark. This high life buffer powers decisive game-ending threats including Felidar Sovereign, Test of Endurance, and Angel of Destiny, forcing opponents to hold immediate removal or lose on the following upkeep. Secondary win lines leverage drain triggers from Dina, Soul Steeper and Starscape Cleric alongside wide combat buffs from Akroma's Will and Farmer Cotton. The interaction package brings clean, flexible exile removal across all permanent types, backed by mild stax pieces like Archon of Emeria to suppress faster opposing combo turns.
