Deck overview

This deck is an Azorius tempo-aggro strategy centered around Denzilore Fatehold. It converts ubiquitous scry and surveil triggers into permanent team-wide +1/+1 counters. The early game establishes evasive, low-mana creatures that smooth draws and scry on entry or attack. Once Denzilore enters, every cantrip, land scry, and combat trigger rapidly inflates the board. Powerful payoff creatures like Herald of Secret Streams and Abzan Falconer grant absolute evasion, while Danny Pink and Matoya, Archon Elder provide immense card draw. The deck protects its built-up investment with elite phasing spells like Clever Concealment and Ripples of Potential, which dodge all forms of board wipes while preserving accumulated counters. It closes the game by wiping opposing boards asymmetrically with Wave Goodbye and Damning Verdict, before swinging for lethal combat damage over Turns 6 and 7.
