Jon Irenicus, Shattered One by Ornnet

Format: Commander

Commander: Jon Irenicus, Shattered One

Bracket: 5

Deck overview

This deck pairs a high-speed Dimir combo shell with a malicious Jon Irenicus, Shattered One donation strategy. The primary game plan aims to assemble the compact Thassa's Oracle combo alongside Demonic Consultation or Tainted Pact, backed by an elite suite of free countermagic and premium black tutors. When combo lines are delayed, the commander weaponizes detrimental creatures like Steel Golem, Grid Monitor, and Archfiend of the Dross by gifting them to opponents. Because Jon prevents donated creatures from being sacrificed and forces them to attack each turn, opponents quickly eliminate each other while drawing cards for you to find your winning pieces.
