Format: Commander

Commander: Donatello, Mutant Mechanic

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a mono-blue artifact-counter engine helmed by Donatello, Mutant Mechanic, whose tap ability turns any artifact into a thrumming Robot and whose death trigger redistributes counters across your board. The plan is to assemble a dense artifact base, leverage repeatable draw and cost reduction, then convert counters into one of several kills: an unblockable alpha strike powered by Herald of Secret Streams and Cyberdrive Awakener, a Walking Ballista sink backed by Krark-Clan Ironworks/Scrap Trawler recursion, extra turns via Magistrate's Scepter charge shenanigans, or the slow-burn alt wins Mechanized Production and Darksteel Reactor. The commander is the fulcrum - he animates your rocks and utility artifacts, spreads +1/+1 counters, and pairs beautifully with untap effects, proliferate, and Danny Pink to turn every activation into a card.
