Deck overview

This deck is a five-color Marvel Villain tribal midrange deck commanded by Thanos, the Mad Titan. The strategy focuses on establishing early mana acceleration through artifact creatures and green ramp spells, curving into synergistic Villain creatures that trigger connive, counters, and drain effects. Mid-game turns establish board presence with value engines like Baron Strucker, HYDRA Overlord, Loki, the Deceiver, and Doctor Doom. In the late game, the deck transitions into lethal combat steps powered by Absorbing Man and Titania, Bast, Panther Goddess, and Doctor Octopus, Master Planner. While the deck features strong recursion through Behold the Sinister Six! and asymmetric board control via Thanos's odd/even power-up ability, its reliance on combat damage over multiple turns leaves it vulnerable to well-timed board wipes and fast combo strategies.
