Food Fight! by legobumb

Format: Commander

Commander: Ragost, Deft Gastronaut

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Ragost, Deft Gastronaut helms this highly synergistic Boros artifact-combo and burn deck. The primary strategy revolves around Ragost's static ability, which turns all artifacts into Foods, and his activated ability to sacrifice them to deal massive damage to each opponent. By equipping Ragost with lifelink (via Basilisk Collar or Shadowspear), every activation gains 9 life in a 4-player pod, easily satisfying his condition to untap at the beginning of each end step. Combined with untappers like Drumbellower or Victory Chimes, Ragost becomes a machine gun, dealing 12 damage to the table per turn cycle. Beyond this massive combat inevitability, the deck features a dedicated artifact combo package centered around Krark-Clan Ironworks (KCI) to generate infinite mana and infinite damage. The deck plays like a resilient, inevitable engine that slowly drains the table before executing a sudden, infinite combo finish.
