Deck overview

This deck is an optimized Izzet Spellslinger storm combo deck commanded by Vivi Ornitier. Vivi serves as both a table-wide burn engine and an explosive mana generator. Every noncreature spell you cast places a +1/+1 counter on Vivi and deals 1 damage to each opponent, while Vivi's activated ability converts its power into colored mana. The primary victory route attaches an Aura like Curiosity or Ophidian Eye to Vivi. Because Vivi damages all three opponents with each spell cast, Curiosity triggers three times, drawing three fresh cards per spell. This massive draw engine fuels an uninterrupted storm chain of cheap cantrips, rituals, and free spells on Turn 4, eliminating all three opponents simultaneously through burn in a single turn. The deck supports this game plan with a dense suite of free and low-cost countermagic, redirect spells, and static protection like Hexing Squelcher. If Vivi is removed, Niv-Mizzet, Parun provides a lethal backup combo.
