Deck overview

This Selesnya deck builds a wall of reach Spiders and toughness-matters payoffs to win through combat. Tadeas, Juniper Ascendant is the central engine: it untaps each attacking reach creature, prevents blocks by larger creatures, and draws a card whenever your creatures deal combat damage. The actual damage comes from hidden commanders that let toughness count as power - Assault Formation, Huatli, the Sun's Heart, Bedrock Tortoise, Rasaad yn Bashir and Baldin - amplified by Unnatural Growth, Mirari's Wake and Beastmaster Ascension. Secondary paths use deathtouch Spiders and draw engines like Toski and Ohran Frostfang to control the board and out-value opponents. No infinite combo exists; all wins are fair combat.
