Format: Commander

Commander: Toxrill, the Corrosive

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Toxrill, the Corrosive is the linchpin of an attrition-control deck. There is no hidden commander; the deck is built around keeping Toxrill alive while end-step slime counters erase opposing boards. Late-game opponents are given weak token creatures through Akroan Horse, Clackbridge Troll, and Hunted Phantasm, which Toxrill then kills to create Slug tokens and Treasures. Sacrifice outlets turn those Slugs into cards and drain triggers through Blood Artist, Mirkwood Bats, and Syr Konrad. Victory comes from grinding life totals down or resolving Revel in Riches with enough Treasures on the precombat main phase. Noncommander beatdown is a fallback, not a reliable kill.
