Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov aristocrats strategy led by Ratadrabik of Urborg, focusing on sacrificing legendary creatures to spawn non-legendary 2/2 Zombie token duplicates. By pairing high-utility legends like Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim, Wernog, Rider's Chaplain, and Ebondeath, Dracolich with sacrifice outlets and drain pieces like Bastion of Remembrance, Cruel Celebrant, and Wayward Servant, the deck turns every death into card advantage, life drain, and board presence. Teysa Karlov doubles these death triggers, while cards like Dictate of Erebos and Liesa, Forgotten Archangel provide asymmetric creature suppression. The mana curve is supported by efficient 2-CMC mana rocks, allowing a consistent Turn 4 commander cast and Turn 5 engine activation. The primary game plan achieves critical onset by Turn 6 and drains the table to zero by Turn 8 across two response cycles. While vulnerable to exile sweepers and graveyard hate, the deck boasts strong functional redundancy and high recovery resilience.
