Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Spellslinger Burn strategy piloted by Kefka, Court Mage // Kefka, Ruler of Ruin. The deck accelerates in the opening turns with mana rocks to deploy low-cost Wizard pingers like Coruscation Mage, Vivi Ornitier, and Guttersnipe. On Turn 5, casting Kefka triggers symmetrical discard across all four players while refilling your hand with multiple cards based on the distinct card types discarded. Once established on Turn 6, Kefka attacks to trigger additional discard and draw cycles, fueling chains of cheap noncreature spells that burn down all opponents simultaneously. Multipliers such as Artist's Talent, Black Waltz No. 3, and Kuja, Genome Sorcerer amplify the noncombat damage output, while a robust suite of counterspells and instant-speed removal protects the board and disrupts critical opposing plays.
