Deck overview

This Mardu deck utilizes Megatron, Tyrant // Megatron, Destructive Force to convert sacrificial artifact value into devastating direct damage and massive bursts of colorless mana. By casting Megatron on his Vehicle side via More Than Meets the Eye for four mana, the deck attacks on Turn 4 or 5, sacrificing high-mana-value artifacts or prototypes like Skitterbeam Battalion and Steel Seraph to obliterate opposing creatures and dome opponents with excess damage. In the postcombat main phase, Megatron converts back into robot form, generating colorless mana equal to total opponent life lost that turn. This surplus mana fuels lethal X-spells such as Crackle with Power and Torment of Hailfire, or asymmetric powerhouses like Portal to Phyrexia. Supported by cheap protection spells, target deflections, and efficient removal, the deck aggressively controls the board while threatening rapid, explosive multi-player table finishes.
