Deck overview

This Sultai kindred deck pairs the explosive mana generation of Elves with the evasive, instant-speed disruption of Faeries under Maralen, Fae Ascendant. In the opening turns, the deck develops mana using premier dorks such as Bloom Tender and Priest of Titania alongside early token creators like Bitterbloom Bearer. Once Maralen enters on Turn 4, every entering Elf or Faerie exiles cards from opponents' libraries and allows you to cast them for free once per turn. Flash creatures such as Quickling, Glamermite, and High Fae Trickster enable you to trigger Maralen on opponents' turns, turning defensive interaction into free spell velocity. The deck closes games around Turn 9 by overwhelming life totals through evasive aerial combat, lord buffs from Elvish Archdruid, token swarms from Lathril, Blade of the Elves, and drain triggers from Obyra, Dreaming Duelist. It maintains high resilience through flexible countermagic, instant-speed phasing, and mass kindred reanimation.
