Deck overview

This Sedris, the Traitor King deck is a dedicated Grixis reanimator engine designed to cheat expensive, game-warping creatures into play from the graveyard. Early turns focus on accelerating mana with two-mana rocks and sculpting the graveyard using efficient looting and entomb effects like Faithless Looting, Careful Study, Buried Alive, and Unmarked Grave. Once the graveyard is primed, Sedris, the Traitor King turns every binned creature into an immediate threat via unearth for {2}{B}, granting haste and bypassing casting costs. High-impact payloads like Archon of Cruelty, Flayer of the Hatebound, Lord Xander, the Collector, and Eldrazi beaters dismantle opposing resources through devastating enter-the-battlefield and attack triggers. Alternate reanimation spells such as Victimize and Grave Researcher // Reanimate provide reliable backup when commander tax mounts. While vulnerable to targeted graveyard hate and lacking dedicated stack protection, the deck generates overwhelming board pressure and card flow once its unearth engine goes online.
