Deck overview

This deck is a mono-red aggressive strategy led by Jiang Yanggu, Alone, focusing on solo-attacker triggers, rummage card selection, and +1/+1 counter scaling. By discarding cards through looting spells and combat triggers, the deck rapidly increases the power of a single attacking creature while filtering through its library. Secondary payoffs such as Magmakin Artillerist and Casey Jones, Back Alley Brute turn discarded cards and counters into direct damage against each opponent. The deck leverages evasion from cards like Bedlam and Goblin War Drums alongside damage doublers like Fiendish Duo and extra-combat spells like Seize the Day to finish the game. While the deck possesses consistent sequencing and solid redraw capability, its reliance on combat damage over multiple turn cycles leaves its key threats exposed to opposing creature removal and sweepers.
